collage - social - drawing - ceramics - abstract

I really like paper and stories, books in a second-hand shop, the bound colorful covers, fonts or pictures. My father had many filing cabinets with handwritten quotes from all kinds of books.
I find things, objects that are already there interesting to do something with. I am looking for stories of objects.
Identity is something I think about a lot. How do you dress, what do you want to express. How do people look at each other. Everyone yells but doesn't listen. I see these developments in the Netherlands, but also in other places in the world. People's identities change. I was trained as a museologist in the system of ordering and contemplation, now I work as an artist and educator in a children's art hall. During my education at the art academy, photographer Peter Lindbergh selected my work for a portfolio presentation. I work with different materials that I have in my environment.
