Tymon's started his career in his own city, Rotterdam, which bristles with life and creativity and where he leaves his mark upon the city itself. Nevertheless, it is not just his home town that is an essential part of his work, as he has been painting murals all over the world, obtaining international recognition. Singapore, Uruguay, United States, England, Germany, Sweden, Ecuador, Mexico for example.
Tymon's work is greatly influenced by his deep love and appreciation for indigenous cultures and Latin America. He started painting murals and canvases, often based on his own photographs of the people he met during his travels. He thus turns the anonymous people met during his trips – often natives – into heroes of everyday life and into the symbol of the wealth of multiculturalism, represented in a deliberately magnified way through swirling patterns and bright colors. As stated by the Graffiti Art Magazine: Tymon's "sensitivity, sense of storytelling and detail bring his work beyond representation towards emotion".
