Most of my work is created while travelling. Whether wandering through less visited remote areas, popular tourist destinations or just a short journey from home, I'm drawn to still moments and perfect compositions in which shape, color and a feeling come together. Creating images, different from our usual perception of the world and exploring how we relate to this space around us. The peace of mind I experience while travelling, reflects the visual simplicity of my work.

    • BIO

    • Willy Lamers (1981) graduated in 2005 as a Graphic Designer from the University of Lincoln, UK. Her artistry, she finds in photography. After living in London, having worked as a graphic designer, she moved back to the Netherlands in 2016. Nowadays she works as a photographer, graphic designer and bike messenger in Rotterdam. Cycling or walking through landscapes and cities, is the source for her art.
