Yasmim Flores

Yasmim Salim Flores is a visual artist, performer and art educator. She lives and works between Rotterdam and Sao Paulo. She graduated from the Visual Arts at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado – FAAP (2008). Salim Flores has a background in dance and art education, which she merges into her current artistic practice through interactive performances. Her work is thematically focused on the body relations with the materiality of drawing, painting, music and installations.
Currently, she is teaching Brazilian Art for kids at EPM Choro School of Rotterdam at WMDC CODARTs Building and works as a curator of the art activities of the BIR Library of Portuguese language for children of Rotterdam.
