Light shine glimmer – Leak spill shimmer is an exhibition by Lucy Cordes Engelman, Luuk Schroder and Bea Haut in which the relationship between people and technology is explored using analogue devices. In Alternative Space LOOP in Seoul, Korea, the three artists created an installation using analog film as a starting point. The question of how analogue film can work as a meeting place was central. An environment is created in which the haptic elements of analog film can be physically experienced. The exhibition shows the filmmaking process, as well as the process of studying the environment, climate, nature and people. The installation and the films shown explore the ways in which technology is connected to bodies.
