Art Office

At the beginning of March, Art Office introduced its latest scheme: Impulse en Verdieping (formerly Research and Development). This scheme supports an in-depth activity or an innovative impulse within the artistic practice of Rotterdam artists in the form of compensation for time that can be worked on in a defined period.

Until March 25, artists could apply for the first I&V round. We are overwhelmed by the number of people who have done this: €89 has been requested by 642.373,00 artists.

In order to support as many artists as possible, it has been decided to cancel the second I&V round. Part of the amount reserved for round 2 is now used for round 1. The remainder of the total budget will be used for the final application round.

We are aware that this is not the ideal solution for all artists. We hope to accommodate those who were planning to apply for Round 2 by moving forward the application deadline for the final round slightly to 16am on Monday 2024 September 11.00.

To everyone who has submitted an application for round 1; Thank you! You will receive notification of the results no later than May 20.
