The closing presentation of Goethe Investigating #16 will take place on Sunday 4 July. Participating artists are: Linhuei Chen, Maria Jose Crespo, Steven Maybury, Dafni Melidou, Radio Echo, Yeon Sung and Philipp Schwalb.

With Goethe Investigating, the Goethe Institut Rotterdam opens its doors to projects from the cultural field, but also to initiatives from civil society that investigate current social issues. Projects and studies are facilitated on the following topics: political context of art, sustainability, digital culture, future technologies and social change, Europe and civil society.

Yeon Sung
Yeon Sung received an award for her Weathering Port project Practical contribution from CBK Rotterdam. The air quality of the port of Rotterdam is investigated by means of citizen science. Sung is from Seoul, where she experienced severe air pollution, which made her think about the role of artists in tackling environmental problems. As part of the closing presentation, Sung will hold a lecture/performance.
