Anne-Mercedes Langhorst

Multi-disciplinary artist Anne-Mercedes Langhorst born in Lima lives and works in Rotterdam.
She studied at the art academies in Antwerp and Rotterdam and graduated from the Hogeschool voor Kunsten in Utrecht.
Characteristic for her work in public space is the 'connection', in concept, symbolism and use.
Her paintings and drawings seem like fragments of a 'bigger story'. Admittedly, they do not allow direct riddling, but refer to biographical experiences.
She has exhibited her paintings in the World Trade Center Rotterdam and in the art show of North Sea Jazz.
