My visual work circles around a fascination for the intersection between object and subject, between viewing things (from the outside) and experiencing moments (internally). Animals often play an important role in this, because they tell us something about ourselves in a different way. After I recently trained as a taxidermist, I also make work with stuffed birds in addition to films and photos.

    • Location: Rotterdam Central, Ahoy, IFFR, Rotterdam
    • For Move Over I'm Next, a project of Rotterdams Beeldfonds and OPEN Rotterdam powered by Rotterdam.Make it Happen., I made a 1-minute about the city as nature. Five filmmakers took up the challenge to capture their own Rotterdam in 1 minute. On January 14, 2020, the 1-minutes were shown for the first time in Lantaren/Venster at Rotterdams Open Doek. Then in RTM Remix / IFFR, on the screens opposite Central Station, at Ahoy and as a pre-film in Cinerama.
