My visual work circles around a fascination for the intersection between object and subject, between viewing things (from the outside) and experiencing moments (internally). Animals often play an important role in this, because they tell us something about ourselves in a different way. After I recently trained as a taxidermist, I also make work with stuffed birds in addition to films and photos.
