Leontien Wiehink studied architectural design at the Academy of Art and Industry (AKI) in Enschede. After graduating in 2004, she started working as a public space designer at various architectural firms. In addition, she trained as a goldsmith. In 2015 she founded her own studio in which she focuses on art in public space, outdoor products and jewelery.

Her work often consists of lines. She does this from a strong architectural perspective and with a sense of geometric simplicity.
