Warittha Kraiwee

artistic research - audiovisual - communication - diversity - spirituality

Honey Kraiwee is an artist and curator who gives the moon new energies and forms of thoughts from Eastern perspectives. Honey invites people from multidisciplinary backgrounds to think and wonder together in human and nonhuman cosmology. Her works often put standards into questions and seek to go beyond linear thinking. Honey hopes to generate moments where rituals meet possibilities and technology converges upon minds.

Together with NonNativeNative, she has been constructing an alternative speculation – or rather – impression on the world's future, through critical reflection of Asian actors who are part of the global cultural landscape.

  • 01-12-2019 t/m 01-02-2020
  • In collaboration with: Showroom MAMA, Space101 and AGA Lab
  • Location: Rotterdam, Rotterdam
  • MOONMOON CALENDAR announces multicultural lunar traditions and exposes an algorithmic similarity between astrologers and Artificial Intelligence (AI) through horoscopes The project resets our way of thinking about time by reclaiming the throne from the sun back to the moon. The calendar uses fiction, non-sacred spirituality and sarcasm as a method to reflect on humanity and to imagine alternative possibilities. May it open up other forms of knowledge that are dominated by non-Western thinking.
