I am a self-taught photographer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I am focused on making personal documentary work that is closely connected to where I live. Through asking questions and meeting people I am able to let my curiosity take the lead. In this way I like to question the edges and boundaries of documentary and personal, more emotional work. This then helps me to ground myself deeper in my environment. I use the medium of photography to give space to subconscious interests, obsessions, fears, memories and intuition.

Under the guidance of Witty Books publisher Tommaso Parrillo, designer Giulia Boccarossa and PhMuseum curator Rocco Venezia, a selected group of photographers will be followed through the advanced phase of their projects with the goal of concluding a body of work and having it ready for publishing.
At the end of the 7-month masterclass, all participants will be ready to present their work to an international audience in the form of a dummy or a photobook.

FOTODOK’s talentprogramma Lighthouse biedt 10 getalenteerde opkomende fotografen de mogelijkheid om een nieuw projectplan te ontwikkelen. Om dat te bereiken worden ze een half jaar lang op inhoudelijk, praktisch en financieel vlak geholpen door een grote groep experts uit het werkveld, het team van FOTODOK én elkaar. Alle deelnemers krijgen feedback op hun visuele en tekstuele projectvoorstellen en krijgen de unieke mogelijkheid om hun projecten te pitchen aan experts, fondsen en partners.
