    • During the residency I plan to make one part of a bigger project titled: “I Am a Linden Tree, a Fox Is My Sister and a Bee Is the Sun”. On the whole, it is a project where I demystify and appropriate story-telling techniques that are common in indigenous cultures. Particularly, using the example of Latvian Folksongs – Dainas. The value of these songs is that they talk from an embedded perspective. Metamorphic (shapeshifting), place specific and relational.
