Jordi Cárdenas

After his graduation at La Llotja High School of Art&Design in Barcelona, he moved to Rotterdam to develop his work based on figurative painting, drawing and muralism. Influenced by remains of pictorial heritage and naiff, his research explores different subjects such as personal process conditioned by our modern lifestyle, our ancient traditions, our ego and inner child. Along this path of irony, criticism, magic and innocence, he simultaneously discovers revelations related to love, relationships, hate and peace.
His art practice is strongly committed to its technique, materials and experimentation as a way of expanding his aesthetics, methods and concepts.
