- Harlesden’s subversive mission, to bring art in temporarily empty properties, spaces in transition, works as an act of occupation. Within this stirring, we wanted to create a place for solace and exchange, and maybe also retreat. The artists featured work toward removing borders between objects, memory and artefact. How does removing these fringes work as an addition rather than a subtraction? How can this threshold work as a portal to self and collective healing?
