Toran MacRae Wolstencroft is a Filmmaker from Scotland. They believe in a future grounded in ecocentric spirituality promoting global unity and functional sustainability, in short they believe in Utopia.

"Cultivating one's world view is essential to staying grounded and keeping an open mind - that being said I harbor a fascination with the morbidity of the human predicament, "Assault Sorcery" and the "Pacific Proving Grounds" are important reminders of our capacity for violence."

World building, especially envisioning potential post capitalist worlds is essential to Toran's methodology.

  • Berserk is an iconic Manga, the story is a fundamental battle between dualities; between the protagonist Guts and his nemesis Griffith, in the simplest terms it can be boiled down to the battle between good and evil. However, more complexly it illustrates the battle between ambition and altruism both paths united by total sacrifice. The brutal and depraved world of Berserk can serve as a mirror for the state of our world, the glorification of bloodshed and the corrupting nature of power.
