geluid - installatie - performance

With an interdisciplinary approach, Zoë d'Hont investigates how people experience space and place, how they move through it and how they relate to it. By re-interpreting and re-situating existing compositions, notations and architectures, she emphasizes the importance of observation, ritual and paying attention, aiming to give meaning to the world that surrounds us. The visual and auditory material she works with, derives from an interest in cosmology, nature and composition itself.

    • Tijdens de werkperiode bij Cool Clay Collective onderzoek ik de fysieke en esthetische eigenschappen van geluid en perceptie in het materiaal keramiek.

    • In samenwerking met: Japans cultureel centrum Shofukan
    • Locatie: Gallery Kumagusuku sas, Kyoto
    • Werkperiode in Kyoto met een tentoonstelling in Kyoto bij Kumagusuku Gallery. Hier ga ik onderzoek doen naar ruimtelijke geluidstructuren in de stad. De resultaten van het onderzoek zullen verder worden verdiept in een tentoonstelling in oktober bij Japans cultureel centrum Shofukan in Rotterdam.
