Jelmer Konjo

Jelmer Konjo graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy as an illustrator, but developed himself into a versatile artist creating paintings, sculptures and installations with a characteristic naive and colorful style.
In his work he mainly plays with composition, color, form and he loves to include interactive components to surprise and trigger his audience.

    • The original idea was to make a couple of analog arcade type of games in combination with paintings so the visitor could play around in the space. Due to the covid rules we had to downscale it a little bit and settled creating a half court where if you make the shot you can win a print or shirt. Created in collaboration with Noel Deelen Curated by Nanne Boere.
