Jet van Schie, a visual artist born in 1981, graduated in 2005 with a keen interest in exploring the boundary between reality and fantasy. Her eclectic body of work ranges from photographing miniature children's graves to engaging in Life Acting Role Playing (LARPs) and embodying various alter egos. Recently, she's delved into #Wijzijn13, investigating young people's online identities. Her art has been showcased at prestigious venues like Galerie van Kranendonk and Paris Photo. Co-founding "500Watt" in 2009, a production company, she's garnered acclaim, including the Series Prize for her Pernis Hoogvliet project. Now, in 2024, she launches So-We, a platform for diverse creative projects, signaling a fresh chapter in her artistic journey.
